I’m Joanna, originally from Poland but proud to call beautiful Scotland my home for over a decade.

My love for ceramics began during my years living and studying in Japan, which deeply shaped my aesthetic sensibilities. I strive to translate that influence into the pieces I create.

I’m passionate about making timeless items that are full of character yet have a subtle presence. I find beauty in 'perfect' imperfections—like visible cracks, chipped edges, rough textures, and uneven colours.

I create both functional and sculptural pieces in stoneware clay, using a combination of wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques. Embracing the unique qualities of mixed clay bodies, I celebrate uneven, rough surfaces that have become my signature style.
